From an old-vines parcel (planted in 1956) at the bottom of the central, southerly exposed Kupp, the Unterstenberg Fass 12 is a full-bodied, very intense, dense and lovely wine of great expression. Creamy, round and charming on the palate, this is a full-bodied and rich yet also piquant and crystalline Riesling with good mineral grip and fruity bitters on the finish. This is a very intense and powerful but fine and refreshingly mineral.
