This is an amazing vintage for Perbacco. From more than 11 different Crus (single vineyards) inside the Barolo appellation, this is Vietti's 'basic' Barolo (although technically classified as Langhe Nebbiolo DOC). This cuvée was created by Luca Currado to give the next generation of wine lovers a chance to experience the joys of the Nebbiolo grape without having to pay higher prices for Barolo. The wine is selected from different barrels, in a blind tasting. Luca looks for less tannin, and more approachability in this wine, but it can age for 10 years if you have the patience. Most don't have the patience, because it's absolutely one of the most delicious and drinkable wines in our portfolio.
