From a vineyard in the middle of the Roero area, in Santo Stefano, this is the benchmark for all other Arneis in the world. The vineyard would be considered to be ground zero for nearly all Arneis vines today, as Vietti's style (which was first produced in the last 1960's) was so sought after than vignerons came to the vineyard to take cuttings to plant their own Arneis vines. This is a clean, floral and bright wine, with no malolactic fermentation. Citrus and melon hit the palate, with almond notes and the balance is exceptional.
