This St. Veran is one of the best examples that arrive in the Ontario market. From a 35 year old vineyard farmed organically and biodynamically, this 2 hectare plot is surrounded by old brush, making it a unique microclimate with no direct vineyard neighbours. Just slightly South-east from the Pouilly-Fuissé en Chatenay, the clay and limestone soils create a beautifully rich but balanced wine, with the right amount of texture softening the bright and juicy acidity.
