The Chateauneuf-du-Pape Boisrenard is from the oldest vines on the property, from 65-100+ years old. It is a vineyard in which all 13 authorized varieties of grape are mixed together, and co-fermented. The entire process is very traditional, with lengthy fermentation times, 18 months of oak barrel ageing before additional ageing in bottle. This is a serious Chateauneuf, with tons of red and blue fruit, spice, earth and mineral notes. This wine can easily age for 20+ years, although it's easily approachable in the first 5.
