This linking thread between past and future was bound to remind Tabarrini of Armando, Giampaolo’s maternal grandfather who, like this wine, had a generous and resolute character.

• 89 POINTS, IAN D’AGATA, VINOUS Dark yellow. Almost caricatural banana and tropical fruit aromas and flavors are complicated by a very strong note of acacia. Finishes long and clean, displaying lingering tropical fruit notes and a lemony edge. This late-harvested Trebbiano Spoletino boasts considerable freshness and juiciness.
