Saar-typical apple and cherry are delivered in both fresh and distilled form on the penetrating nose, with yeast, apple pip, iodine and wet stone accents adding counterpoint and intrigue. The satiny underlying texture is allied to finely integrated mousse, and the long, refreshing finish adds alkaline and mouthwateringly saline notes to the already complex litany of nuances noted in the nose.
