Vadio Branco is a blend of 40% Bical, aged for 10 months in used French oak, and 60% Cercial, aged in stainless steel tanks. It comes in at 12.5% alcohol. Fresh and clean, this handles its wood rather well—just when you think it is going to show wood, bursts of acidity overtake it. This has fine tension on the finish and that crisp, lively feel. Yet this isn't just a summer white, as refreshing as it is. It should hold nicely for several years and continue to evolve with cellaring.
