The Riesling Smaragd Ried Hollerin is the most charming, fruity and powerful Riesling of the domain. From the vineyard looking onto the coolest part of the Kellerberg and cultivated on large terraces with deeper soils, this wine opens with an intensely fruity and only slightly flinty nose. Rich, round and massive but still elegant it finishes with delicate tannins and pretty stone fruit.

Who says dry riesling is always tart? The effusive grapefruit and peachy nose, with hints of sesame and hibiscus, remains cool and subtle. Hard to resist this as it pulls you into the juicy and bright palate which feels a bit lighter than it actually is. Long, rather zesty finish with delicate minerality that makes you want more.
