This Nuits-st-Georges from Confuron-Cotetidot probably started out with an earthy nose of dark berries and lead to well-concentrated and openly robust medium-bodied flavours and a fine, dusty and mouth-coating finish. But, after 32 years in Yves Confuron's cellar, it has turned into one of the most ethereal and beautiful Burgundies I've tasted in recent memory. This is a perfect example of why people age great Burgundy for 20+ years.
