This is a Touraine-inspired blend of 50% Cabernet Franc and 50% Malbec. The grapes were fermented separately whole-cluster in stainless steel tanks and then blended immediately after pressing. The wine was then aged for eight months in neutral oak barrels. Unfined, unfiltered with a 20ppm SO2 addition at bottling. Only 3300 bottles of this cuvée were produced and it is a beautifully elegant, balanced and powerful wine.
