René Rostaing's IGP Syrah comes from old-vine parcels of vineyards attached to Cote-Rotie (just on the other side of the border. It is an incredible example of top quality, Cote-Rotie-like Syrah, fragrant and fruit driven, with attractive scents of raspberries, blackberries and licorice. It's medium to full-bodied, with solid tannic clout on the finish that lets you know this isn't just another easy-drinking Syrah.
