Talenti's Brunello di Montalcino Piero has been created as a tribute to the work of Pierluigi Talenti, who has worked passionately with Sangiovese over the years. A vineyard measuring 1.95 Ha, not far from the winery, with unique soil and climate characteristics, distinguished from all the others by its attributes of constant quality. The slightly sloping land, surrounded by forests and rich in galestro clay, enjoys south-easterly exposure at an altitude of 410 m MSL. It is here that Pierluigi developed his personal clonal selection in the 1970s. Intense and persistent in character, with a ruby red color and elegant tannins. Wine ages for at least 24 months in tonneau and rests in bottle for several months waiting for release.
