The name of the single vineyard Valdegiñes come from the valley of Giñes, just outside of the village of Laguardia, this wine has incredible elegance and freshness - two terms that aren't always attached to Rioja. The sun leaves the vineyard by mid-day, so it's quite a cool site, giving the lifted aromas that you will find in this wine. Firm, but fine tannins brace the wine, and there is exceptional wood and alcohol integration.
