Quinta da Falorca Touriga Nacional T-Nac

Gloriously fresh, this is always a bottling that emphasizes its pure and exuberant fruit. The red fruits and the Burgundian feel make it very enticing. It has structure too, although it is very accessible.  This wine is such a pleasure, and is drinking very well right now (as it's almost 9 years old already).

• 92 POINTS, WINE ADVOCATE:
  The 2010 T NAC has been seen before but it's worth a checkup. It is an unoaked Touriga Nacional from 31 different clones and more than 40-year-old vines. It has come along beautifully. Still a bit steely, it has blossomed, becoming lusher and fruitier. Very pleasing now, if still a bit tight, this shows that it will age better than expected. It is nowhere near peak and has a long life ahead, not really what you typically expect from this style. It may do a lot better than indicated but let's take that in stages. Although this is an oldie, it will be re-released and available sometime this year.
