Penna-Currado Nebbiolo d’Alba shows a firmer, more classical expression of Nebbiolo than their Langhe bottling. Red cherry, raspberry and rose unfold with quiet depth, while the palate carries greater structure and grip. Tannins are more defined, the finish longer and more savoury, emphasizing Nebbiolo’s age-worthy side rather than the easy charm typical of Langhe Nebbiolo.
