Gagliole's Pecchia is grown in their vineyards in Panzano in Chianti, planted at an elevation of 500 metres on the northwest ridge of the famed sub-region of Conca d’Oro. Pecchia is a single-varietal Sangiovese made only in the finest growing years, with an average production of roughly 2000 bottles. This is an extremely rare and excellent wine, and a fantastic wine to blind taste with the great IGT Toscana wines of the world.
